Crain Automotive Donates Old Chevrolet Facility
to Habitat for Humanity 
 
Crain Automotive has announced a generous donation of its old Crain Chevrolet facility on South University to the Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County.
 
Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County is the local chapter of a national organization which aims to make simple, decent and affordable housing a reality for all people. Habitat for Humanity plans to use the site in a way that will "further the mission of the organization."

Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to put belief into action by working in partnership with God's people to create a decent habitat in which to live and work.
 
Habitat's mission is to eliminate substandard housing while providing simple, decent housing to qualified low-income families. In addition to building homes, Habitat builds a spirit of community and cooperation among the volunteers, supporters and beneficiaries of the organization. Additionally, Habitat partners with other community development organizations to rebuild neighborhoods.
